How was your holiday weekend? I had a lovely time and quite enjoyed dressing the table while others dressed the turkey. On Friday I was captivated by the CNN Hero Awards and deeply impressed by the philanthropic resumes of the honorees. My favorite Hero is Anne Mahlum (founder of Back On My Feet). Anne realized the symbolic significance of the forward movement of jogging and thought to extend that empowerment to homeless individuals living in her city. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could all share our passions and hobbies with others to help propel each other forward?
