I am smitten with the clothing line by Obedient Sons & Daughters.

This suit-coat is a sophisticated way to showcase

A bonus - their website is wonderfully inventive - check it out.

One of my favorite materials in nature is feathers. I use them in my jewelry designs and I'll be using them in our wedding. So you can imagine my delight upon discovering all of the gorgeous feather details in Burberry Prorsum's 2008 Autumn line. Christopher Bailey seriously rocked it big-time. The line was inspired by the work of English artist L.S. Lowry (I see the olive and grey notes quite clearly in the piece below).

I appreciate knowing the method behind the beautiful madness of a trench coat made of feathers. Superb!
I heart this outfit from fashion designer, Junko Shimada! Born and raised in Japan, Junko visited Paris, fell in love with the city and stayed to eventually develop her own clothing line. The shoes in the Spring/Summer 2008 collection make the ladies look like they are rising out of flower pots.

This dress makes me happy. I imagine it would make a fine frock for a summer garden party at Chloe Sevigny's East Village home.

Chloe's house was showcased in January's edition of House & Garden, which is no longer in print. Check out Decor8's Flicker photostream for other photos of the spread.

Dress from Sonia Rykiel's Summer 2008 collection.
If I were to star in my own fairy-tale, I would wear these.

Looking out on gray-mid-western skies and wishing for a little color. A rainbow would be nice!

Check out the Aussie label Sass & Bide's Spring 2008 collection titled: Rainbows for Kate. It's what I imagine Rainbow Brite would be wearing if she were all grown-up and super sassy.

While on the topic of rainbows, I was jazzed to see Thom Yorke on the cover of Rolling Stones. It's fun to watch the video of the band jamming to a version of Bodysnatchers that seems dreamier than the recorded version (on their new album - In Rainbows).
