I was in NYC again for work this week and as I do with every trip, I stopped in to Lori McLean's jewelry & gift boutique. I found the perfect wedding gift for my Mom and will definitely profile after she's received.

After Lori's, I walked for a couple hours in the West Village. I've never realized how beautiful & varied the iron-work is in that neighborhood (and maybe other neighborhoods in Manhattan, for all I've noticed). At the end of my walk, I stumbled upon Hable Construction - a shop I've had on the must-see list for awhile now - but of course, it was closed. Next time!

On the way I came across a really wonderful hole-in-the-wall art gallery called Charmingwall. I finally had a chance to check out their website and it's a fantasy-land of animation and beauty.
